Birds from the countryside of England

Happened to visit England last may and was staying at this British countryside at Luton Hoo. Took a few snaps of the birdlife in and around the lake very near to the place I was staying.

This Partridge just zoomed past before I could take a better shot.

Lot of coots in the lake a good family photo here:

And a beautiful Grebe here:

Dear Mr Arijit,

I came across your website while searching on birds in Hyderabad, India. So I decided to leave you this comment.

A team of researchers here in Singapore is currently working on the cities biodiversity index (More information:http://www.cbd.int/authorities/gettinginvolved/cbi.shtml). Of which, birds are part of this critical list to create the index. As we are trying to focus on within the developed urban areas, I like to ask for data on birds found within urban areas of Hyderabad city. By 'urbanized area', we mean central district areas, or sites with buildings, structure, roads, etc. We appreciate your help if you could provide us with the data or someone who can provide us with the data.

I look forward to your reply and Thank you for your time!
